Harpless travel!

by Karen Marshalsay - 19:10 on 15 October 2006

Well, I have just organised my flights for the German gigs in November and am so ridiculously happy that I am going to be able to borrow  a harp over there and not have to take mine with me!  Just imagine walking up to the check in desk and not getting strange looks and demands for heaps of excess baggage money.

I first did this when I went to Kora Wuthier's Celtic Days on Lake Constance Festival and was kindly allowed to play lots of lovely harps from Pilgrim and Camac. This time I'll be getting my hands on a pretty new harp by Frank Sievert, so I am very much looking forward to this (I'll whisper though in case my own one gets jealous...)
