£3600 raised for Teenage Cancer Trust at harp concert for Esme

The harp concert held in Kinross earlier this month in memory of Esme Macintyre, the young clarsach player who died aged eighteen last July after suffering from a brain tumour, has raised £3,600 for Teenage Cancer Trust. Eight new tunes were written for Esme, which was part of a wish list that included meeting Sir Chris Hoy, Andy Murray and singers Emeli Sande and Amy Macdonald, and performed at the concert and the family were so pleased with the results that they are hoping to release a CD commemorating the event.
