The Clarsach Collection, Volume 1 Elementary, Scottish tunes arranged in traditional style

The first volume in a new series is aimed at inexperienced players on gut-strung clarsach, with Scottish tunes, old and new, arranged in traditional style by Karen. Fingerings are given with notes on the music.

This new book is aimed at beginners and those with some experience (on any harp) and looks at playing and damping techniques, with exercises, studies and traditional tunes, Gaelic, Scots and Karen's own compositions including the new 9 part variation piece The Owls of Alnwick Castle.
